Our iconic treks are about reaching new heights—sometimes metaphorically, but mostly physically! These adventures push your limits, reward you with jaw-dropping views, and give you stories that will last a lifetime (or at least get you through the next Zoom meeting).
Ready to touch the sky? Kilimanjaro is calling! This iconic trek takes you from lush rainforests to alpine deserts and, eventually, to the summit—the highest point in Africa. It’s no walk in the park, but the view from Uhuru Peak is worth every step. Just imagine sunrise over Africa while standing above the clouds. It's time to add a little altitude to your adventure bucket list!
Everest Base Camp. Just saying it gives you chills, right? This legendary trek takes you deep into the Himalayas, with views that make you stop mid-step to take it all in. You’ll follow in the footsteps of mountaineering legends while surrounded by some of the most jaw-dropping scenery on Earth. And when you finally arrive at Base Camp? You’ll never forget it.
If ancient paths and mind-blowing ruins sound like your thing, the Inca Trail has your name on it. This legendary trek leads you through the Andes, past ancient sites, and right into Machu Picchu—one of the World's New Seven Wonders. It’s tough, breathtaking (literally), and one of those “pinch-me-I’m-dreaming” moments when you finally reach the Sun Gate.

Some challenges are more than just trips—they’re a return to what we’ve always loved or a journey that’s quietly defined us for decades. These trips both hold a special place in our hearts. One is back after a long break, and the other has been a Discover Adventure favourite for 30 years...
It’s been nearly five years since we’ve walked along the Great Wall, and we are beyond excited to be back! Thanks to the pandemic, this trek has been off the cards for far too long, but the wait is finally over. Later this month, our first group will once again set their boots on this incredible historic landmark. This is more than just a trek—it’s a walk through history with a backdrop that will leave you speechless. From rugged watchtowers to awe-inspiring views, this iconic journey is back, and we couldn’t be happier to share it with you again.
Here’s a well-known secret: Discover Adventure made its name with Moroccan adventures, and for 30 years, our Saharan treks have been a staple. While we’ve never officially given them the “iconic” title, we think it’s time. The vast, rolling dunes, starry nights, and peaceful solitude of the Sahara have been captivating our adventurers for decades. Our new-ish for 2024 itinerary adds a fresh twist, but the heart of the adventure remains the same. Walking through one of the world’s largest deserts, you’ll experience beauty like nowhere else on Earth. The crown is yours, Sahara—well deserved!
Pedal Power
If two wheels are more your style, our iconic cycling challenges are ready to take you across countries, through history, and right into the heart of adventure. It’s all about the ride, the views, and the sense of achievement that comes with crossing that finish line. So, whether you're looking to test your endurance or simply want to experience the world from the saddle, it's time to pump up those tires and hit the road!
Fancy pedalling between two of the world’s most famous cities? This ride takes you from the bustling streets of London to the romantic boulevards of Paris, with a few picturesque villages and country roads in between. Whether you’re in it for the challenge, the views, or just an excuse to eat all the croissants at the finish line, this is a ride you won’t want to miss!

This is the ultimate British cycling challenge from the southern tip of England to the northernmost point of Scotland. It’s long, it’s tough, and yes, you’ll probably experience four seasons in a single day. But that’s all part of the fun, right? With each pedal stroke, you’ll be covering a piece of Britain’s beautiful and varied landscape, and by the time you finish, you’ll have cycled the length of an entire country. How’s that for bragging rights?
If you’ve ever dreamt of cycling through Southeast Asia, this challenge will make that dream come true. From the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City to the quiet, mystical beauty of Angkor Wat, this journey takes you past rice paddies, vibrant towns, and historic trails. It’s a ride filled with culture, adventure, and sights that will leave you in awe (and maybe a little saddle sore—but in a good way!)
